The Indie Society has announced that this term's club trip will be to the legendary Blow-up in London's China Town. Blow-up is a successful night held at the Wag Club which has given birth to numerous Compilation Cds and the famous GAP TV ad 'Blow-up a go go'. Blow-up is no straight indie club, instead specialising in hammond and moog grooves and classic tunes. All of this is available on two intimate floors with much imitated visuals.
Chicks on Speed are also appearing, a hotly tipped German 'dance' band.
Last Winter the indie society also arranged a sell-out trip to the club, the review of which can be seen if you click here.
The trip is taking place on Saturday 27th November 1999. The bargain price of £5 for members and £7 for non-members includes luxury return coach travel to and from the club. Entry to the club can be obtained on the door at around £6 before 11.00pm.
You can obtain your coach tickets from the union from Monday to Friday between 2pm and 3pm in the entrance area of the Union and at Tuesday's indie night.
See you there and don't miss out!
